Drydocks Marine Electrician Training
Overview
Ship Building is a combination of art, science and engineering. The Marine Electrician course is a vocational training program that teaches students about the electrical systems used in boats and ships. The course covers a range of topics, including electrical safety, marine electrical codes and standards, electrical circuits and components, electrical troubleshooting, and electrical system maintenance. The Training in Marine Electrician is provided at well-equipped workshops manned by able and experienced trainers at shipyards.
Key Skills
Electrical knowledge: Marine electricians must have a strong understanding of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, test equipment and components.
Technical skills: Marine electricians need to have hands-on technical skills to install, maintain, and troubleshooting and repair electrical systems on boats and ships.
Training Objective
The program is designed to educate and train the students in ship building technology with a view to performing Marine Electrical jobs at ship building or ship repair industries which are of highest standard.
